Howdy Folks! WE ARE BACK!
So, we have been gone for a few days and we now have our new site up and running. Fanfare? Nope, not really. That’s ok though because we are very happy with the results. Thanks to Chel Pixie for her help. She was extremely patient and is a wonderfully knowledgeable ninja.
Sure there are still a few kinks to be worked out (broken links, missing links and missing content – so sad) and our friends over at the old wordpress site (click here) will be wondering where we went. Well if they go there the will see that we have moved over here.
So, what’s changed?
Well there is a laundry list of good stuff. Some technical (livefyre and comment luv got added – ahem, no affiliates just love) and there is some better built-in functionality for us.
- We added a video so you can see what http://theviewfromhere.ca is all about! Check it out in our sidebar.
- We updated our About Page. Now you really know what’s up over here!
- We added a Need Some Help? Page. It’s kind of self explanatory.
- We’ve got some new links!
- We’ve added some categories on the home page and tightened up our content offering.
Why the heck did we do all this?
Well because after a year of blogging we simply LOVE doing this stuff. We LOVE learning something new and this site is going to keep us on our toes. We LOVE sharing our experiences with you. It’s that simple. We LOVE accepting a new challenge and this is certainly taking us there. And last but not least we LOVE to act on making things better for everyone.
This site is for you!
We have said this all along and now is the time to reinforce this edict. We love bringing this stuff to you and over time it will continue to get better and it will continue to grow but in the interim we need to get you back! We had a great readership (52 strong), a great bunch of contributors and a fantastic feeling from the people who stopped by to visit.
So, tell your friends, share the link and stop by often.
